Alex VanHouten is an exercise scientist, health coach, and founder of Faithful Fitness and The Betterment Company. For more than 20 years, he has helped individuals transform their health through intelligent, science-based training—while grounding every step in the hope of the gospel. As host of the Faithful Fitness Podcast and leader of the Better Daily community, Alex equips people with the tools to steward their bodies well for God’s glory.
Beyond his work as a coach, Alex’s greatest calling is to his family and to ministry. He and his wife, Christin, serve together in their local church where she leads children’s ministry, and he disciples men to walk in strength, humility, and stewardship. His passion is to raise up the next generation—starting with his two sons, Gabriel and Bennett—to become godly men who embody faith, grit, and service.
